Weekend Recap

Happy Monday everyone! Holy Moly Friday night seems like ten years ago! This weekend just flew by! We started the weekend with a Halloween/ birthday party that my friends Ashley and Mysha hosted. It was at Mysha's house since it was her hubby's birthday. Mark and I quickly got ready after work and headed over to their house. I think that our Mary Poppins and Bert costumes were a success!

The party was lots of fun and it was good to catch up with Ashley and Nicole.  We called it a night around 11:30 because we were exhausted.  I know, I know... we are lame lol.

The next morning I went to Orange Theory to workout with Dina. This was day 5 for Hell Week for me and I'm so excited that I actually finished out the week! I was so sore and exhausted Saturday morning and I didn't want to go at all. Mark convinced me that if I could wake up at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday to work out, I could get up and workout at 10 a.m. on a Saturday. Haha fine, fine... he was right! Afterwards the three of us went to brunch at To the Point.

Our appetizer since we were all starving!

Mark's Bloody Mary and my iced Chai Tea Latte... so yummy!

After brunch we ran some errands and then went back to the house to relax for awhile. We ended up watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. I've been wanting to do a Harry Potter marathon for awhile now but Mark convinced me that just watching one or two would be much better lol. We also ate quest dip with tortilla chips and halloween candy. It was a really healthy kind of food day haha. Before we knew it we had to get ready for Halloween party #2. We picked up Meaghan, Dina, and Mar (the pup) and headed to Coronado. The party was super low key but a really good time. We hung out, ate yummy chili, and passed out candy. It was the perfect kind of Halloween for me!
Our view over the bridge... such a beautiful night!

On Sunday morning we headed to church. I loved the extra hour this morning! So nice. Then I meal prepped and headed to the commissary to grocery shop. Mark washed Wilbur (my jeep)... thank you!! The day consisted of putting away groceries, cleaning, making dinner, making lunches, and then it was time to head to Bible study. Where did the day go??? Bible study was awesome once again. I love the insight that Mike and Beth provide.

Now, I am just trying to mentally prepare myself for Conference week starting tomorrow. It always makes me nervous to talk in front of the parents and tomorrow I have a full schedule. AHH! :) Wish me luck! I hope you all had a fun Halloween! Have a great Monday!
