Five on Friday: The Craziness of the Week Before Break...

To say this week has been crazy is a HUGE understatement. This week has been totally nuts and I'm exhausted! I can't wait until this morning is over so we can head home to Vegas :) Although I am super excited to see the adorable Christmas performance! Praying everything goes well today. Lets jump into this Five on Friday...

One- Teacher Life

I thought it would be fun to share a little bit of the things I've done this week as a teacher :)

I should have added that we are also playing nurse, mommy, counselor, janitor, cheerleader, party planner, door decorator, and entertainer for the students haha. This is such a fun and special time of year despite all the stress :)

Two- New Book Love

At work we have "secret sisters" which are kind of like secret santas. It's just a fun way to celebrate this joyous time of year by giving to others in a sneaky way :) I have the BEST secret sister! She has been so good and seems to know me well or just picks up on things very easily :) From an owl mug (I love owls) to lots of coffee... this girl gets me! This week I was also surprised with the book Savor by Shauna Niequist. I posted about this book last week during my Five on Friday: Christmas Wish List. I've wanted it for awhile now and was shocked to see it sitting on my desk! :)  The book is a daily devotional with recipes included throughout. I love it so far! Thanks secret sis!

Three- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette

I love the semi-sweet chocolate bar palette from Too Faced. The eyeshadows are super creamy, blend like a dream, and pair really well together. I rotate through my makeup quite often but this week I've been using this little guy again. I love to use Bon Bon on my lid, Mousse as a transition shade, and Truffled as my crease shade. I also like to use my Maybelline cream eyeshadow in Bad to the Bronze with Rum Raisin on top, and then Mousse to blend it all out. This it a much smokier look but still doable for the day time. The best part of this palette is the fact that it smells like chocolate!

Four- Our First Disney Vacation

I bought this adorable ornament while I was in Disneyland last weekend. I wanted to get an ornament that represented something we did this year and it was perfect since we took our first Disney trip together this summer. How cute is this little thing? I gave it to Mark as a surprise when he got home from his work trip :) He loved it!

Five- Thankful

When I have crazy weeks at work it just makes me even MORE thankful for the people I have in my life. Thank you Steph and Jenna for always making me smile and helping me laugh at the stressful moments in our days. This week would have been terrible without you :)

As always I'm linking up with AprilNatashaChristinaKarliErikaNarci, and Andrea.  I hope you all have a great Friday and a super relaxing weekend!
