Five on Friday {Thankful}

First of all let me just say WOW. I was blown away by the outpouring of love we received yesterday after my post. If you haven't read it yet click here to see what I'm talking about :) I had texts, phone calls, emails, comments, and messages from people who just wanted to say they loved what I wrote or that they are going through something similar. We felt covered in love & prayers and cannot say thank you enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

1- Playing with the big boys

We've been in Vegas since Wednesday night and we mostly came out here to see my brother-in-law play baseball. I've talked about him a bunch before but he plays minor league baseball for the Mets. Well for the last couple of years he's played in Spring Training with the actual Mets (aka the big boys) and this year he traveled to Vegas with them for Big League Weekend. So not only did we get to see him yesterday, but he actually pitched in the game. It was so cool to see him pitch (in person) wearing the Mets jersey. Big things are happening for this guy! I know this is his year. :)

My friend and co-worker, Alicia, has a new Etsy shop called Cu_totes. Her bags are extremely well made and so beautiful! I can't wait to get my hands on one. You should head over there to check out these cute totes. The little makeup size bags are killing me with the tassels! I love them!

3- Redken Quick Tease 15

 I recently bought Redken Quick Tease 15 after I had been on the hunt for it for weeks. Katie from Katie Elizabeth blog had posted about it and said it's great for fine hair that lacks volume. That's definitely my hair. Now I just tease my hair, spray this stuff in, and my hair stays voluminous for so long. Love this stuff!

4- Spring Break

It's been soooo nice to have the week off. Mark and I had a couple of day dates and we were actually able to spend Easter together. This doesn't happen often. We headed to Vegas on Wednesday to spend some time with fam and of course see Chase play. Our first night we went to dinner and the Andersen fam joined us. Love them!

5- Making Moves

We met with our real estate agent and mortgage lenders on Tuesday to get the house-buying process started. Oh man it was a little stressful but also felt good to make some moves in the right direction. Mark totally took the lead on all of the paperwork and did it ALL himself. Thank you!!! :) I can finally say that I am more excited than freaked out to buy a home! That's huge for me lol. Now, I just want to find one... that we can afford :)

As always I'm linking up with AprilNatashaChristinaKarliErikaNarci, and Andrea. Have a great weekend!!
